For the launch of their first issue, FULL LOVE will be curating a group exhibition with the artists highlighted in their magazine, from the 1st to the 10th of September 2023 at that’s what x said.
Thirty artists come together around the theme of FREAKS, a term that is often used to negatively label the LGBTQIA+ community, to marginalise and invisibilise them. For this exhibition, the artists proudly reclaim the word and defend their own freakiness and uniqueness.
The opening will take place on the 31st of August from 6 to 9 pm, on the day of the launch of the first issue. For the occasion, Nour Beetch will be performing, followed by a DJ set by Vera Moro accompanied by a second performance by Lady Boy Jon.
FULL LOVE is a magazine promoting LGBTQIA+ artists based in Belgium. Founded by Alix Joiret et Louka Perderizet, FULL LOVE is a platform aiming to give more visibility to queer people, a space to create their own communities, share their artistic queer identities and their outlook on the world.
