Sha Nsk is a Belgian multidisciplinary artist. In their last years, their practice mainly revolved around different printing techniques. They seek in their work the expression of a raw and shameless, vulnerable self. They are above all interested in the otherness of faces and animated bodies, whether they’re filmed, photographed or encountered.
The medium matters less to them than the desire to convey emotion through anecdotal detail. Their pieces are sometimes signed “Iggy E.”, their sex worker alter-ego. Iggy is the sex worker who draws and Sha the artist who fucks for money.
