Lucy Silver

Lucy is a poet and writer, living and working in London. She writes to untangle emotionally knotty experience, and is happiest when she makes her audience laugh-cry.

In 2021, she debuted her first full collection, ‘He didn’t text back: and other ghost stories’, a tragicomic zine about dating, feminism and sexuality. The zine is designed and illustrated by Sarah King. Her work has been reviewed as ‘hilariously relatable’ and ‘beautifully written’ by strangers on the internet, and ‘embarrassing to be honest’ by her exes.

Lucy moonlights as a copywriter for charities, with a focus on animal welfare, humanitarian, and environmental causes. She shares her home with a spaniel called Pan.
