In her work she questions issues such as mental health, identity, feminism and the Self. Her inspiration comes from her studies in Clinical Psychology but also from her daily life and the people surrounding her. Júlia has shown her work in various exhibitions in France, Portugal and the USA.
In 2019, she founded Joia – Ouriversaria de Sentimentos with Vital Lordelo in Lisbon, a gallery advocating for its artists and their work.
