Manon Didierjean

Manon Didierjean is an author-researcher based in Brussels. Her writing work takes several narrative forms (novel, poetry, theory) and questions the control of bodies, their imposed normality, the representations of LGBTQIA+ people in pop culture but also stereotypes and their fabrication, the violence induced by images and their reproduction. Her research is particularly related to cinematic and television culture, in a feminist approach linked to cultural studies. She questions the imaginaries that one builds, between individual, collective, intimate and political projections.
